Just a reminder that we have some fun events coming up.
Friday, February 7th is our 100th day of school. We will celebrate by having a 100 minute read-a-thon, games, and other 100 related activities.
Friday, February 14th is Valentine's Day. Notes will be coming home next week with a class list and items needed for our party.
Monday, February 17th is President's Day -no school.
Wednesday, February 28th is Juice With Seuss. Bring your family to school at 7:30 am for breakfast and to listen to stories.

Weekly Class News for 1/27-1/31
This week we will be starting Unit 4 in math. We will review coins and then begin working on subtraction with ungrouping. Don't forget that we have a great resource to help us practice math at home, Think Central.

Raz Kids
We have a great new way to do our reading at home! It is an online program called Raz Kids. Each student has been given a paper with login and password. Students can listen to books, read and record themselves, and take comprehension quizzes. Parents and teachers get to see reports of student progress.
The more activities you complete, the more stars you can earn. We will have classroom prizes for earning stars.
